A small kit. Everything considered.

The UKSOL Duo ground kit contains the equipment below. Our fitted option also includes ballast and the installation scope shown here. No battery is included.

01

Two solar panels

2 × 445W panels, giving 890Wp combined DC capacity under standard test conditions. Actual generation depends on daylight, position and shade.

02

An 800W microinverter

Converts solar electricity for use at home, with app monitoring. Its 800W AC rating is separate from the 890Wp panel rating.

03

Ground mounting frames

British made steel ground frames. This kit is for ground use, not balconies or roofs. Ballast is required: supplied with our fitted package, excluded from supply only.

04

Cables and instructions

4 metre AC connection cable, 2 metre DC cable, instructions, warning labels and the supplier tool kit.

FITTED FROM £1,659 / NEW SOCKET OPTION £1,759

A proper fit. A checked connection.

Fitted packages are £1,659 using a suitable existing outdoor socket or £1,759 including a new outdoor socket within the agreed 2 metre cable route. Thermal Care brings the kit to site with no separate delivery fee. Fitted totals include 0% VAT where the complete residential installation qualifies. Our introductory fitted options cover the first five suitable West Lothian homes. After ordering, our qualified electricians check suitability and confirm the scope and appointment. Full refund if unsuitable before work starts.

Professional installation does not replace product approval. We confirm the certification and paperwork that apply to the final kit and installation.

Ask us about your installation ↗
  1. Fitting the two panels, ground frames and required ballast at an agreed accessible and suitable ground location.
  2. £1,659 with a suitable existing outdoor socket at the agreed solar location. This option includes no new socket, circuit or remedial work.
  3. £1,759 including a new outdoor socket at the solar location, with an actual cable route of up to 2 metres from a suitable existing ring or radial socket circuit.
  4. Testing the existing electrical installation and proposed connection for compatibility, including the relevant circuit and protection.
  5. Connection and commissioning once suitability is confirmed, plus a practical handover and the applicable test records.

If your site needs more

Longer cable runs, new circuits, circuit alterations, remedial electrical work, foundations and specialist access are outside the standard package. We quote and agree additional work before accepting it.

We expect many suitable homes to be straightforward, but testing comes first. If a circuit or location needs attention, we explain the findings and agree the next step before connection.

A few useful details.

How does the introductory offer work?

Supply only £1,359 including 20% VAT. Free delivery across mainland Scotland, excluding the Highlands and Islands. Highlands and Islands delivery is quoted separately. Contact us for a quote before ordering for these areas. The fitted launch offer covers the first five suitable West Lothian homes, one kit per home, for 30 days from public launch. Suitability, scope and appointment are confirmed after ordering. If unsuitable or unavailable, you can cancel for a full refund before work starts. Extra work needs a separate agreed price.

When will my kit arrive?

Free delivery across mainland Scotland, excluding the Highlands and Islands. Highlands and Islands delivery is quoted separately. Contact us for a quote before ordering for these areas. For Thermal Care installations, we bring the kit to site with no separate delivery fee. The supplier estimates approximately two weeks. This is not a guaranteed delivery or fitting date. We confirm arrangements after ordering. Delivery within 30 days unless you expressly agree a later date. If delayed, you can wait or cancel for a full refund.

What does the 2 metre limit mean?

It means an actual cable route of up to 2 metres between the new outdoor socket at the solar location and a suitable existing ring or radial socket circuit. It is not a guarantee that the nearest socket or circuit is suitable. We check the route, installation and protective devices before confirming the work.

Can I choose supply only?

Supply only is available for a suitable ground location and connection that meet the equipment instructions. Ballast and electrical work are not included. We recommend professional assessment. Tell us about existing solar or battery equipment so the whole arrangement can be checked.

Can I add a battery later?

This is a solar only kit. A home battery is a separate design decision, with its own inverter, charging and connection requirements. Ask us to assess a future storage system rather than assume this kit is battery ready.
